In the second year of Prime Video’s coverage of the NASCAR Cup Series, the streaming platform showed an increase of momentum from its annual broadcasting of five races in the summer month’s. As part of the series multi-billion dollar TV deal, Prime averaged 2.29 million viewers per race this season. That’s up 6% from the programs debut season in 2025, which averaged 2.16 million viewers.
The data is also collected from NASCAR’s implementation of Neilsen’s Big Data + Panel methodology.
- Charlotte: 3.06 million (+12%)
- Nashvile: 2.01 million (-3%)
- Michigan: 2.07 million (+17%)
- Pocono: 1.66 million (-11%)
- Coronado: 2.28 milion (+9%)
Of note, both the Nashville Superspeedway and Pocono Raceway start times were impacted by weather.
The median age for Prime Video’s coverage this year was 57.7 compared to FOX and FS1’s 63.1, an interesting observation as the sport continues to make a push towards a younger demographic.
Last year’s ratings on the streaming service were down 17% compared to the same races from a year prior in 2024. Amazon would go on to narrowly beat out TNT Sports, which had a per-race average of 2.1 million viewers.
