The final practice session for the ‘Good Ranchers 250’ at Phoenix Raceway for the NTT Indycar Series concluded on late Friday afternoon with the No.2 of Josef Newgarden leading the way for Team Penske. Newgarden will start second for Saturday’s event alongside his young teammate and pole sitter, David Malukas.
The session also saw various names make adjustments after the qualifying session to jump up on the practice board. Such as the No.66 of Marcus Armstrong for Meyer Shank Racing clocking in at second fastest. With the No.5 of Pato O’Ward for Arrow McLaren running right behind in third, turning 101 laps this session.
Final practice also saw the appearance of the No.60 of Felix Rosenqvist, who was unable to make a qualifying lap earlier in the day due to mechainal issues in the first practice session. Rosenqvist was able to be as high as 18th on the speed charts.
