Corey LaJoie to Drive Kaulig Racing Truck at Darlington

Corey LaJoie will be driving for Kaulig Racing in the upcoming NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Darlington Raceway, the team announced on Saturday. He’ll drive the No. 25 Ram 1500, a full-time Truck Series entry intended for a rotating cast of drivers.

The Sober or Slammer 200 on Friday, March 20 will be LaJoie’s second Truck start of the season. He also entered the season opener at Daytona International Speedway for Henderson Motorsports, finishing 34th after suffering mechanical issues.

Driver for Hire

“It’s always fun getting to drive a NASCAR truck, especially at the track ‘Too Tough to Tame,’” LaJoie said. “Ram’s program is a breath of fresh air into the sport and I’m fired up to have a shot to wheel one for Kaulig. This group has worked incredibly hard to get these teams going, so I’m going to give them all I’ve got to put in a great day in the office.”

One peculiar detail of LaJoie’s upcoming Darlington start: he’ll have raced for a different manufacturers in each of his 2026 NASCAR entries. The 34-year-old attempted the Daytona 500 in an RFK Racing Ford, raced in the Craftsman Truck Series race that same weekend in a Henderson Motorsports Chevrolet, and is now stepping into a Kaulig Racing Ram.

In his career Corey LaJoie has 15 starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. His best finish so far is fifth, which he achieved three times in 2025 for Spire Motorsports. In 14 NASCAR Cup Series starts at Darlington Raceway, LaJoie has an average finish of 25.0 with one top-ten.

The Kaulig Racing No. 25 Ram has featured a different driver each week so far this Truck Series season. Tony Stewart came out of retirement at Daytona International Speedway, followed by Cup veteran Ty Dillon at EchoPark Speedway in Atlanta, and then IMSA racer Colin Braun at the St. Petersburg street circuit. Dirt late model driver Caleb Ferguson will drive the No. 25 truck at Martinsville Speedway in October.
