Travis Pastrana, a famed and multitalented icon of the motorsports world, is returning to NASCAR competition for the upcoming Craftsman Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway. Pastrana will drive the No. 42 Chevrolet for Niece Motorsports in the Fresh from Florida 250 on February 13.
Niece Motorsports announced their partnership with Pastrana on Monday, along with the news that BRUNT Workwear would be sponsoring the entry. When he rolls off the grid next month, Pastrana will make his seventh career Truck Series start and first NASCAR appearance since the 2023 Daytona 500.
“I’m excited to get back on the track in Daytona with BRUNT Workwear and Niece Motorsports,” Pastrana said in a prepared statement. “This is my first NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race since 2023, so it will be fun to get behind the wheel again and see what we can do.”
Travis Pastrana’s Motorsports Record

In six Truck Series starts so far, Pastrana has a best finish of 13th driving for Niece Motorsports in the 2023 Truck Series Daytona race. He achieved an impressive 11th place run in his NASCAR Cup Series debut that same weekend, piloting the No. 67 Toyota for 23XI Racing.
Though Pastrana also completed the entire 2013 season in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, he’s more often associated with his numerous accomplishments in other forms of racing. The 42-year-old Maryland native is an 11-time gold medalist in the X Games, an inductee into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, and a champion in Nitro Rallycross and the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship.
The Right Team and Sponsor
For Niece Motorsports CEO Cody Efaw, the pairing of Pastrana and sponsor BRUNT Workwear was a natural one. “Travis and I first worked together at Roush back in 2013, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see that relationship continue into the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series with Niece Motorsports,” Efaw said. “Travis is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet, and we’re thrilled to welcome BRUNT Workwear to the Niece Motorsports family. Their brand is a natural fit for who we are and what we do, and we’re excited to take the green flag together at Daytona.”
“We’ve been talking about making this happen ever since we started working with Travis,” added BRUNT Workwear Founder & CEO Eric Girouard. “If something has wheels and an engine, chances are Travis drives it better than most. He’s a motor and action sports legend that embodies BRUNT’s commitment to celebrating hard work and grit, and we can’t wait to see him in the BRUNT Truck at Daytona.”
As it turns out, Travis Pastrana is no stranger to the BRUNT Workwear brand. “It’s great to work with BRUNT for the first time in NASCAR,” he continued. They’ve been an amazing partner, getting behind all the good times and bad ideas we cook up at Pastranaland, and keeping myself and the Channel 199 crew safe and comfortable while we do it – expanding that partnership to the racetrack was a no-brainer and a great opportunity for all of us.”
