AM Racing has withdrawn the No. 25 Ford entry from Saturday’s NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Rockingham Speedway. That takes full-time NOAPS driver Nick Sanchez out of the race unless alternate arrangements can be made.

Sanchez’s No. 25 car was one of two Ford entries in Saturday’s North Carolina Education Lottery 250. The last remaining Ford is the No. 5 Hettinger Racing car driven by J.J. Yeley. There are now 38 entries for 38 spots in the race, meaning each entered car will be able to compete without the risk of missing the field.

So far in 2026 AM Racing has entered the No. 25 car in every race leading up to the Rockingham withdrawal. They’ve also run the No. 52 Ford in three races, with Daniel Dye behind the wheel for each one. On Tuesday, Dye announced he parted ways with Kaulig Racing following a suspension by NASCAR.

Nick Sanchez ran the 2025 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series season full-time for Big Machine Racing. He was let go in the off-season, and landed at AM Racing for a full-time ride in 2026. The state of Sanchez and AM Racing’s No. 25 car remain unclear as of Tuesday.

Neither Nick Sanchez nor AM Racing have released a statement on their withdrawal as of late Tuesday afternoon.
