Thomas Annunziata will drive the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for Tricon Garage at Lime Rock Park next week, the team announced on Friday. The entry is being sponsored by Shop Tricon, the team’s official merchandise store.
When he rolls off the grid on July 11, Annunziata will make his second career start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. His debut came last year at Lime Rock Park, driving the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado for Spire Motorsports. Annunziata finished 15th after qualifying 13th.
The timing of 21-year-old Annunziata getting a shot in top Truck Series equipment is no coincidence. The New Jersey native won his first race at Lime Rock Park in the ARCA Menards Series last year for Nitro Motorsports, demonstrating an affinity for one of his closest home tracks.
Ten races into the 2026 ARCA Menards Series season, Annunziata is second in points behind Nitro Motorsports teammate Jake Bollman. Though he’s still searching for his second career ARCA win, Annunziata finished an impressive third place at the only road course race so far this year: Watkins Glen International.
Joining Annunziata for Tricon Garage is 20-year-old Graham Doyle, who’ll pilot the No. 5 Toyota. Doyle is a veteran of IMSA endurance racing who’s preparing to make his first ever NASCAR start. Tricon will also field its three full-time entries with drivers Kaden Honeycutt, Tanner Gray, and Gio Ruggiero. The team is the defending victor at Lime Rock Park, with Corey Heim having won the 2025 race at the Connecticut road course.
