Alpine F1 Team has announced that Gucci will become the official title sponsor of the team beginning in 2027. The team will race under the name ‘Gucci Racing Alpine Formula One Team’ as well.
As a part of the new collaboration, the luxury fashion house have stated that Gucci Racing will be “a new business and experimental platform built around the values of performance, precision, discipline, and excellence at the intersection of luxury and sport.”
Alpine’s executive advisor Flavio Briatore also expressed the excitement not only with the performance on track, but how the new partnership will capitalize on improvements to the team itself.
“Partnering with a prestigious brand of Gucci’s caliber in Formula 1 as title partner of Alpine Formula One Team is something I am incredibly proud of,” Briatore said. “With the improved performance on track, and Alpine having it’s best-ever points total to start a season, this new collaboration with Gucci shows the growing momentum behind the team.”
Francesca Bellettini, President and Chief Executive officer of Gucci, also shared the same enthusiasm.
This reflects our ambition for the brand and the role we want Gucci to play on this stage,” Bellettini said. “Gucci Racing is more than a presence on the grid. It is an expression of who we are and where we want to take the brand.”
The news comes during a good start to the 2026 season for Alpine, with the team coming from the bottom off the standings in 2025 to currently sitting fifth in the Team’s Championship.
