Daniel is the newest intern at ATYL. Born and raised in Orange County, C.A., he moved to Charlotte N.C. in 2022 to pursue a career in motorsports and attend UNC Charlotte. He is a senior marketing student with a background in writing studies. He works with Buddy Pulley to produce ATYL’s “On Tour” short track coverage. As a first generation racing fan, his love for racing began when he was three years old watching the movie “Cars”, and it transferred to real motorsports when he watched the inaugural Charlotte ROVAL event on T.V in 2018. After viewing the unpredictable finish, he told himself he will never miss a NASCAR race. Outside of ATYL, Daniel is a writing tutor and the marketing lead at his university’s Writing Resources Center, and is the motorsports writer for UNC Charlotte’s student newspaper, Niner Times. Some of his hobbies are playing drums, collecting vinyl records, and learning about wildlife.
