Jordan Anderson Racing is hiring Daniel Dye for a part-time driving schedule in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series this season, the team announced Wednesday. Dye will drive the No. 32 Chevrolet with sponsorship from Champion Container.
Four starts were announced for Dye this year: Daytona International Speedway (August 28), Darlington Raceway (September 5), Talladega Superspeedway (October 24), and Martinsville Speedway (October 31).
“I am super excited to be joining the team at Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport,” Dye said. “This group has been building something special over the past few seasons, and I am happy that I can have the chance to be a part of it. It will be special that we can start this new relationship at my home track in Daytona. Their Chevrolets have always had great speed on the superspeedways, so we’re hoping that we can have a strong run right off the bat.”
The No. 32 Jordan Anderson Racing Chevrolet has fielded a rotating cast of drivers during the 2026 season. Rajah Caruth leads with 10 starts, followed by Andrew Patterson with five and Ross Chastain with four. Anderson himself has two starts this year, while Tyler Ankrum and Carson Brown have one apiece.
Daniel Dye raced full-time in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series last season, driving Kaulig Racing’s No. 10 Chevrolet. He started out 2026 full-time in the Craftsman Truck Series for Kaulig, but was suspended and resigned after homophobic remarks about IndyCar driver David Malukas on a live stream.
Following his reinstatement, Dye signed on for four NASCAR Cup Series starts with Live Fast Motorsports. He made his series debut at Talladega Superspeedway and his next two entries at Pocono Raceway and Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Dye has also run two races in the Truck Series for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing since returning to action.
“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Daniel and his family through this process, and I’m looking forward to getting him behind the wheel and putting his experience to work for us in these four races,” team owner Jordan Anderson said. “Daniel is hungry and has a lot he wants to prove, and we feel the same way as a race team. I think our goals are going to line up really well, and we’re going into this opportunity determined to make the most of it and show what we can do together.”
The races chosen for Dye in the No. 32 appear tailored to his skillset. The 22-year-old has one top-10 finish each at Talladega and Martinsville in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, as well as two at Talladega in the Craftsman Truck Series. As a local to Volusia County, Florida, Dye’s upcoming Daytona start will be a homecoming race.
