Reigning NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Corey Heim finally has races scheduled for the 2026 season.
Heim will pilot the No. 67 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing in the Daytona 500 on February 15, followed by an unspecified truck for TRICON Garage at EchoPark Speedway on February 21.
These two entries are both backed by Robinhood, a financial services and stock trading platform. Robinhood sponsored Heim in three NASCAR Cup Series races in 2025, along with two for teammate Bubba Wallace. The company will be expanding its sponsorship investment this year, working with both Heim and Wallace.
The Fourth 23XI Racing Car

Heim’s No. 67 car will act as a part-time fourth entry for 23XI Racing, who currently fields three full-time cars. Entering 2026, the 23-year-old has seven career Cup Series starts to his name, including a career-best sixth-place run at Bristol Motor Speedway last year.
“It means a lot to me to have the opportunity to represent Robinhood again this season, and it’s extra special to do so at the Daytona 500,” Heim said in a team statement. “Coming off a great season last year, I’m excited to continue my growth as a driver and look forward to another successful year.”
Back to TRICON Garage
When he rolls off the grid for TRICON Garage in Atlanta, Heim will be returning him to the organization where he surged to the top of NASCAR’s prospect field. Last season Heim set a Truck Series record with 12 wins in 25 races, along with his first championship. Though his No. 11 Toyota Tundra TRD went to Kaden Honeycutt for 2026, TRICON is clearly still willing to accommodate their star alumni.
Heim’s truck number for EchoPark Speedway remains unconfirmed. A prior team announcement, however, has given rise to one possibility: Jimmie Johnson is driving the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for TRICON Garage in a one-off start at the Naval Base Coronado in San Diego this June.
Corey Heim’s Path to the Daytona 500
Heim making his first Daytona 500 start next month is no guarantee. He’ll first attempt to lock in his place in qualifying on Wednesday, February 11. If that doesn’t punch his ticket, Heim’s last shot will be The Duel at Daytona, a pair of qualifying races the following day.
There are currently 43 entries announced for the Daytona 500 field, vying for 40 starting spots. 36 of those are already guaranteed to chartered Cup Series teams. The seven others, who will have to earn their way in, will be competing for seven spots. In addition to Heim, those drivers are Chandler Smith (Front Row Motorsports), Justin Allgaier (JR Motorsports), Anthony Alfredo (Beard Motorsports), Casey Mears (MBM Motorsports), Jimmie Johnson (Legacy Motor Club), and Corey LaJoie (RFK Racing).
Reports also indicate that JJ Yeley (NY Racing) and BJ McLeod (Live Fast Motorsports) could make additional bids, bringing the field to 45 entries. If Jimmie Johnson is able to qualify on Wednesday or Thursday, there will only be 40 cars in the Daytona 500. If not, Johnson receives an open exemption provisional and gets added in as a 41st car.
