Michael Bumgarner is one of the five finalists in the Kulwicki Driver Development Program recognized for his efforts on and off the track. He has been around racing his entire life. Going to Hickory with his father from a young age, all Michael has ever wanted to do is follow in his fathers footsteps and compete at the highest level achievable. He did it. Bumgarner has become a 3x track champion at the Birthplace of the NASCAR Star, 2x in Late Model Stocks and now that he’s accomplished that dream the focus shifts to the highest levels.
