An All-Star Shame at Texas Motor Speedway (Spring, 2022)

The All-Star Race at Texas Motor Speedway was rough to say the least. An experiment to transform the dash for a $1 million prize didn’t go as intended from an optics standpoint to the actual competition itself, with a controversial end that should have earned the winning driver double what this race was worth for his troubles.

Now the debate beings: Should the All-Star Race get another shot at Texas Motor Speedway? Should the All-Star Race even continue to happen as fans believe it’s lost it’s luster? Finally, what should happen to the oval track in the Lone Star State? Is it time to demolish it and move on?

Join Taylor Kitchen in this episode of Above The Yellow Line to talk about all of this and more as NASCAR looks to move on, heading into the Coca-Cola 600 weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
