Brennan Poole will pilot the No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro for Jordan Anderson Racing-Bommarito Autosport in the 2027 NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series.
“The opportunity to race for Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport is special to me,” said Poole. “Returning to an organization with a strong manufacturer relationship is a big deal. I’ve spent a majority of my NASCAR career behind the wheel of a Chevrolet and look forward to continuing that relationship.
“John (Bommarito) and Jordan (Anderson) have invested an incredible amount of time, effort and resources to build a race-winning team. I’m ready to get to work and showcase the driver I feel I am and can be with the support of my new team and amazing partners coming along for the ride.”
Poole has not driven for a team with a strong manufacturer relationship since his return to NASCAR in 2022. That season, he spent a majority of the schedule driving for Mike Harmon Racing while 2023 saw a full season for JD Motorsports. These two years of grinding paid of in 2024, when he earned a full-time opportunity for Alpha Prime Racing. Since then, Poole has piloted their No. 44 to three top-5s and eleven top-10s and two consecutive top-20 Owner’s Points finish.
“He raised his profile and ours,” Alpha Prime co-owner Tommy Joe Martins said on Poole’s departure. “More than any team in the garage, Brennan and that group overachieve every year. He had something to prove and we’ve proved it. Together.”
Additionally, Poole has two full O’Reilly seasons for Chip Ganassi Racing and a full Cup Series season for Premium Motorsports.
About Jordan Anderson Racing
For Poole and team owner Jordan Anderson, this move is a reunion of sorts. The duo raced Legends cars against each other in 2004, with their paths crossing frequently in the past 22 years.
“To see how those journeys have come together, and now have the opportunity to work alongside one another, is something I don’t take for granted,” Anderson said. “We’ve always had mutual respect for each other, and our shared faith and values make this partnership even more meaningful. Sometimes you look back and realize how things have come full circle, and this is certainly one of those moments.”
“From a competition standpoint, Brennan is exactly the kind of driver we were looking for as we prepare for the next chapter of our organization,” Anderson continued. “I’ve watched him get everything possible out of the equipment underneath him for years. He knows how to race, he knows how to communicate what we need to make our cars better, and he understands what it takes to help build a competitive program.”
Jordan Anderson Racing has competed full-time in the O’Reilly Series since 2021. The No. 31 hosted a rotation of drivers in 2021 before Myatt Snider joined the team full-time in 2022. 2023 and 2024 saw Parker Retzlaff take over the ride, with Jeb Burton joining the team in a second car, the No. 27. Retzlaff left after 2024, allowing Blaine Perkins to pilot the No. 31 the past two seasons. 2026 is the organization’s first with three full-time entries, with the No. 32 being fielded for a rotation of drivers.
Like 2024, 2027 will see an all-new lineup for the team. With Burton and Perkins both leaving, Poole will be teammates with Daniel Dye for the 2027 season. Notably, both teams have shown incredible strength at superspeedways. Poole was in contention on the final lap in multiple superspeedways for Alpha Prime, while JAR’s only victory came on one at Talladega Superspeedway in 2023 with Burton.
Macc Door Systems, Toxic Waste Candy, along with CW & Sons and Clarks Directional Boring will move over with Poole.
