NASCAR and SiriusXM have renewed their broadcasting partnership through the 2028 season, per an announcement on Tuesday. Through the agreement, SiriusXM listeners will be able to listen to live broadcasts of all three national series as well as additional programming throughout the day.
“NASCAR fans are incredibly passionate about their sport and for two decades we’ve teamed up with NASCAR to ensure that SiriusXM NASCAR Radio would deliver those fans coverage and programming that matched that level of passion,” said Jared Fox, SVP, Sports Programming, Content Marketing & Partnerships, and Artist Relations for SiriusXM. “We’re extending and expanding on our promise to continue to do that every day, and this week’s programming lineup in Charlotte is a prime example of the kind of coverage and access to the sport and its stars that we’re so proud to give to our audience.”
In the announcement of their new deal, NASCAR and SiriusXM said they’ll be exploring new ways to combine their two brands to promote both entities. They’ll also be working with the NASCAR Channel, a free round-the-clock broadcast channel of NASCAR content supported by advertisements.
Already SiriusXM offers live race coverage of the Cup Series, O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and Craftsman Truck Series. As their platform continues to host NASCAR coverage, the next two years should represent a breaking of new ground.
“SiriusXM has been an incredible partner for many years, delivering engaging and informative coverage that brings our fans closer to the sport,” added NASCAR Managing Director of Media Strategy Nick Skipper. “We’re excited to extend this relationship and explore new ways to connect with fans through expanded programming and collaboration across platforms.”
